Rooms
We offer 32 beautifully refurbished bedrooms spread across three floors, most of which are accessible by lift. Please note that some rooms are located on half landings and require the use of stairs.
Each room has been thoughtfully designed in a contemporary style, featuring a private bathroom, a TV, an in-room beverage tray, well-appointed furnishings, and brand-new, ultra-comfortable mattresses to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
Our rooms are categorised by aspect – Sea View and Inland Rooms – with options including King, Double, Twin, and Single. Given the character of our Victorian building, each room has its own unique charm, enhanced by carefully considered design elements.
For those seeking breathtaking scenery, our sea-view rooms provide stunning panoramic vistas over Scarborough’s South Bay, stretching from the Castle headland to Filey Brigg. There is arguably no better aspect in Scarborough, and it is best enjoyed at sunrise – well worth an early rise at least once during your stay.

First Floor Sea View Rooms
Our recently renovated First Floor Seaview King or Twin Rooms offer a magnificent bay window that looks out over the South Bay. Relax in the sumptuous armchairs, take in the breathtaking views, and soak up the golden glow of Scarborough’s morning sun, which we’ve reflected throughout the room with our signature brushed gold accents. These touches ensure the rooms stay bright, warm, and welcoming all day long. To add a playful nod to the wonders of the sea, we’ve included whimsical underwater adventure wallpaper that makes these rooms feel both luxurious and fun.
These rooms can be configured as a king-sized bed or twin beds, and each features either a walk-in shower or a bath with shower over.
Additionally, we have two individually designed sea-view single rooms on the first floor. Each room boasts a stunning floor-to-ceiling window and is furnished with a standard 3ft bed and an open-plan shower area.
These rooms are truly the showstoppers.
Second Floor Sea View Rooms
Slide open the large sash windows, let in the fresh sea breeze, and listen to the soothing sound of the waves rolling in. Our Second Floor Seaview Rooms have been given a dark and decadent upgrade, featuring Midnight Teal feature walls and House of Hackney panelled bedhead walls, creating a rich, cocooning space that’s perfect for unwinding after a day by the coast.
Double Rooms – Elegant and cosy, with a standard 4ft 6in double bed and an en-suite shower room.
King or Twin Rooms – Spacious, with a luxurious 6ft King-sized bed, which can also be split into twin beds, plus an en-suite shower room.
Family Room – One double bed and one single bed, complete with an en-suite bath with shower over.
Third Floor Sea View Rooms
Perched on the top floor, our Third Floor Seaview Rooms offer some of the finest views in the house. Each room features a dormer window with seating, perfectly placed for soaking up the ever-changing seascape.
Now with Brushed Gold feature walls, these rooms have been given a fresh new glow – adding warmth and character to complement the stunning coastal backdrop.
Double Rooms – Cosy and inviting, with a standard 4ft 6in double bed and an en-suite shower room.
King or Twin Rooms – Spacious, with a luxurious 6ft King-sized bed, which can also be split into twin beds, plus an en-suite shower room.
Family Room – One double bed and one single bed, complete with an en-suite bath with shower over.
Inland Facing Rooms
Modern stylish rooms, each individual in size and shape. All inland facing so sadly no sea-view.
Double Rooms – standard four foot six inch double beds, each with en-suite shower room.
King or Twin Rooms – a luxurious 6ft King-sized bed, which can also be split into twin beds. Each features either a walk-in shower or a bath with shower over.
Single Rooms – standard 3 foot bed each with en-suite shower room – small but perfectly formed.
Cosy Attic Double Room – an inland small double loft room with en-suite shower.
