It’s been another wonderful year at The Weston, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has stayed with us, dined with us, recommended us and taken the time to share their experiences.

We’re especially proud to remain the No.1 Traveller-Ranked Hotel in Scarborough on Tripadvisor, something that means a huge amount to our family and our team. Every review, recommendation and returning guest helps make The Weston what it is, and we’re so grateful for the continued support.

Our commitment to great food continues at Cecil’s Seaview Restaurant, where our kitchen team has once again retained our AA Rosette for 2026. It’s a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the care, creativity and consistency that goes into everything that leaves the kitchen. Our menus celebrate the very best of seasonal produce, with carefully sourced Yorkshire ingredients, thoughtful cooking and plenty of creativity.

We’re also excited to be giving Cecil’s a little refresh of its own. We’ve begun renovating the restaurant, introducing new décor and lighting to complement the sweeping views across South Bay and create an even more relaxed and welcoming space to enjoy our seasonal menus.

It’s been a particularly exciting time for recognition too. We were incredibly proud to be shortlisted for both the Boutique Hotel Award and Customer Service Award at the Yorkshire Post Tourism Awards last year, recognising not only the hotel itself but, most importantly, the people who make The Weston what it is.

With 32 en-suite bedrooms, 18 boasting views stretching from Scarborough Castle to Cayton Bay, The Weston remains a truly special place to stay. We continue to invest in our rooms and the hotel as a whole, always looking for ways to make your stay more comfortable while retaining the character and charm of our Victorian building.

Perfectly located on the Esplanade, opposite the cliff lift and close to Scarborough Spa, we’re ideally placed for seaside strolls, walking the Cleveland Way, cycling the Cinder Track or simply relaxing with a book overlooking the bay.
