As we step into 2026, we’re excited for another wonderful year at The Weston Hotel – building on recent improvements and looking ahead to all that this year may bring.

It’s now well over a year since we proudly featured on Channel 4’s Yorkshire By The Sea, showcasing both our hotel and Scarborough’s stunning coastline to a national audience – a moment we’ll always be incredibly proud of.

Cecil’s Seaview Restaurant continues to flourish, holding its AA Rosette in recognition of our commitment to quality dining and the very best of Yorkshire’s seasonal produce. Under the guidance of Head Chef Andrew Heward, our menus celebrate fresh flavours, local ingredients and thoughtful, modern cooking.

Our guests remain at the heart of everything we do, and we are delighted to continue being recognised with Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award, placing us among the top 10% of hotels worldwide for consistently excellent service. Last year saw the refurbishment of our Bay Seaview Bedrooms, introducing a fresh, elegant feel while retaining the charm of our Victorian building. This year, we’ve continued our programme of improvements, redecorating our Inland King/Twin Rooms and installing new light fixtures in all bedrooms to enhance comfort and ambience throughout the hotel.

With 32 en-suite bedrooms – 18 boasting views from Scarborough Castle to Cayton Bay – The Weston remains a truly special place to stay.

Perfectly located on the Esplanade, opposite the cliff lift and near the Scarborough Spa, we’re an ideal base for seaside strolls, walking the Cleveland Way, cycling the Cinder Track or simply relaxing with a book overlooking the bay.
